Raid 2 is a 2025 Bollywood Hindi crime-thriller directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. It is the sequel to the 2018 film Raid and once again follows IRS officer Amay Patnaik, known for his determination to uncover illegal wealth and corruption.
The story takes Amay Patnaik to the town of Bhoj, where he comes across Dada Manohar Bhai, a powerful and highly respected politician whose public image hides a much darker network of corruption and financial irregularities. Amay suspects that there is more behind Dada Bhai’s charitable reputation and begins investigating his wealth and activities.
As Amay prepares for another major raid, he faces intense political pressure, false accusations and professional setbacks. Even after being suspended, he refuses to give up his investigation and continues searching for evidence that can expose the truth. The conflict gradually becomes a battle between an honest officer determined to uphold the law and a powerful figure who appears to have influence everywhere.
